We are interested in finding out about your local community, perspectives on the local area and how this can be responded to within a potential development on Weston Island. We think it is crucial that as local residents and business owners your voices get heard through-out the design process and inform and support the development of the project. The below survey will act as the first step in this process.
In order to make our project one that closely reflects local needs, we are keen to involve as many residents, members of the local community and stakeholders in this initial research stage as possible, so please feel free to share this survey with other members within your organisation and community as you see appropriate. This research work will inform a set of design ideas that we as a group of students will prepare for the area as part of our postgraduate studies.
Please note that participation is voluntary. You do not have to complete all of the questions and you can stop at any time. Responses are confidential unless you choose to share with us otherwise. The only persons to see the completed questionnaire will be our research group of 6 (Abdul Alothman, Ethan Cherrett, Gina Dinesen, Kim Pearce, Luke Maguire and Selassie Humado) and our supervisors. By completing and returning this survey you understand that you are giving consent for your responses to be used for the purposes of this research project.
